Age Limit & Selection Process

• Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 45 years (as on 01/08/2025). Age relaxation applicable as per rules for SC/ST/OBC/PWD etc.
• Selection Process: Physical Measurement Test (PMT) & Physical Efficiency Test (PET) + Written Exam (OMR Based) + Medical Examination

Exam Pattern

The selection follows a three-stage process: Physical Test (PET/PST) → Written Exam → Medical Exam.

• Paper 1: Language Knowledge (Qualifying): This paper is only to check basic literacy; marks are not added to the final merit list, but you must score at least 30%.
• Hindi Language: 80 Questions
• English Language: 40 Questions
• Total: 120 Questions
• Paper 2: Regional/Tribal Language: You must choose one language from the official list (e.g., Khortha, Nagpuri, Panchpargania, Kurmali, Santhali, etc.).
• Total: 100 Questions (Objective Type)
• Paper 3: General Knowledge
• General Studies (National): 40 Questions
• Jharkhand Specific GK: 50 Questions
• General Science: 20 Questions
• General Mathematics: 10 Questions
• Total: 120 Questions

Exam Centers

• Jharkhand: Ranchi, Dumka, Palamu, Dhanbad, Jamshedpur, Hazaribagh & Other Districts
• Center Allocation: As per candidate's choice / availability by JSSC
• Physical Tests conducted at designated centers in Jharkhand
